The Physical Education program at HHCMS is designed to develop skills, fitness, teamwork and promote a healthy lifestyle through a variety of games and activities. While having fun is an important goal in the physical development of our students, learning how to work hard and strive to reach higher and farther is also stressed.
Students in the primary grades practice basic movements and spatial awareness  | | Mr. Fishback | while participating in activities that include a horizontal climbing wall, obstacle courses, tumbling, rhythms and a number of group games which help develop positive social behavior.
The intermediate students develop skills and strategies through team activities that include soccer, volleyball, basketball and racquet sports. Specific team building activities, rhythms, dance and fitness training are also included in the curriculum.
