My name is Rhonda Simonson and I teach kindergarten at Hancock
Hamline School. I am VERY proud to teach at a school that
believes that 'College Begins in Kindergarten'. I really believe
it, but I also believe that we in kindergarten have a lot to teach
college kids about life. "Everything I need to know I learned in
Kindergarten!" I have taught in the St. Paul
Schools since the early 1980's. I have taught at a variety of
schools and a variety of grades. I have noticed many changes in
the schools. I am very excited to be at Hancock Hamline and work with
the staff and students here. Hancock Hamline is a very good
learning community in the St. Paul Schools. I am
married and have two children. I am a lucky mom because my
children like to go to school a lot. I own a dog and he makes us
laugh. I try to spend some time outside every day. I like
to garden in the summer and I enjoy snow in the winter. Any time
of the year I can come inside and sit down and relax with a good book.
