The Hancock Learning Center is a program designed for special education students. We specialize in modeling and helping students develop skills and strategies to maximize their learning potential. Our students work on school success skills every day. We have three classrooms and we service children in second through sixth grade. We have three teachers, several teaching assistants, educational

assistants, and a school social worker that assist with our program. The Learning Center uses Readers and Writers Workshop and Everyday Math. Students have gym every day with Coach Bonnie. Students also have the opportunity to swim at Hamline University 2 times per month. In addition, our grant from Belwin allows us to take five field trips per to participate in outdoor learning experiences.
