 | | | | | | | Sarah Wright | Hello! My name is Sarah Wright and I am a special education teacher. I have been working in the St. Paul School District for about twenty years and at Hancock for the last ten years. As a life-long resident of St. Paul, my own grade school experience was at Linwood Elementary. I got my college degree at a school in California. and then my special education certificate through a program at the U of M. A few years ago I went through the Masters of Education program across the street at our collaborative school-Hamline University.
At Hancock I work with students who have qualified for special education services. I mostly work with 4th through 6th graders on their reading, math, and written language skills. Service is mostly done in the regular education classroom, but at times students are seen in a small group in the resource room.
My husband and I have three wonderful daughters. One graduated from a St. Paul Public School and is now at the U of M. The other two are still in the St. Paul School system. When I am not working I love spending time with my family including my granddaughter. I also like to read, do crossword puzzles, get to my weekly yoga class, and do outside activities
