 | | Sarah Wright | Hello! My name is Sarah Wright and I am a special education teacher. I have been working in the St. Paul School District for over twenty years. As a life-long resident of St. Paul, my own grade school experience was at Linwood Elementary. I got my college degree at a school in California. and then my special education certificate through a program at the U of M. I received my Masters of Education in Urban Education through our collaborative school-Hamline University.
At Hancock I work with students who have qualified for special education services. I mostly work with 4th through 6th graders on their reading, math, and written language skills. Service is done in the regular education classroom, but at times students are seen in a small group in the resource room.
My husband and I have three wonderful daughters. Two have been through the St. Paul Public Schools and the last one is in 11th grade in the district. When I am not working I love spending time with my family including my granddaughter. I also like to read, do crossword puzzles, get to my weekly yoga class, and do activities outside.
