SEM is a gifted services education model used in the Saint Paul Schools. Students are selected for SEM (gifted services) based on teacher nomination or via test scores measuring ability or achievement. Students are challenged in their area(s) of strength and interests. These activities can include: *acceleration of content *differentiated curriculum *enrichment activities with depth and complexity *investigative projects *academic competitions SEM Activities at Hancock Listed are some of the activities that may occur during the school year.
