 | | | | | | Meet Mrs. Shipp | | My name is Deborah Shipp and I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. I am the new assistant principal at Hancock Hamline University Collaborative Magnet. I have been an educator for over 20 years in the Minneapolis and St. Paul School Districts. My most recent assignment before Hancock was at Humboldt Junior High School on St. Paul's west side.
I am so excited to be in a school like Hancock where so much is going on. The staff here have been awesome in welcoming me and helping me to “learn the ropes”. The students are especially sweet and are very hard working. I am looking forward to working with the staff here at Hancock as well as our Hamline University partners.
I have lived in St. Paul since 1988. I live with my husband Harold and our 17-year-old daughter Shelby who is a senior at Roseville Area High School. The “fun fact” that I love sharing with everyone is that I attended college in Nashville, Tennessee with Oprah Winfrey!!
Please feel free to stop by and see me. My door is always open.
